Garden Show Programme 2010
Friday Evening 25th June 2010
We will have a GALA EVENING from 6pm - 9.00 sponsored by NFU Mutual & Smiths Gore . This is a private event by Invitation only. There will be wine and lots of food in these beautiful gardens and we will have the accompaniment of the Cambridgshire Army Cadet Force Corps of Drums
NFU Mutual Wittelesee have kindly agreed to sponsor this event jointly with Smiths Gore and we very much appreaciate their support.

The Show will be open from 10am - 6pm each day
Entry Fee - Adults £7 Children under 15 Free. No other concessions.
The show will follow the ideas of our 2008 show and the main features apart from the beautiful Gardens will include
NAFAS - East of England Floral Art Marquees - .
CLA Charitable Trust SCHOOLS/YOUTH 'Butterfly Barrel ' competition -
tocreate an garden in a container that will attract Butterflys and friendly Bug ; this is open to all Schools in surrounding Counties - please go to Schools Competition 2010 page to see details and obtain an entry form to send to us.
Anglian Water Garden Clubs/Individual Gardens - Water Saving Garden in a Container.

Kindly run by Huntingdon Cromwell Rotary Club - we have just started the collection of items for this auction - if you have anything that you think might be suitable please make contact; we expect some excellent items available for sale, and all will be offered on the basis that they will be sold without reserve at 4pm on Sunday 27th June. Possible lots include "Visit to the Gallops at Newmarket", "Breakfast at a racing Stable", a day's shooting, Sporting Tickets, Tea at House of Commons, Flights etc. If you can offer a Prize lot this would be much appreciated
VINDIS FINE ART SHOW - Open to all local Artists.
ANTIQUES VALUATIONS by CHEFFINS of Cambridge.
You may bring along an Antique or collectable for appraisal by experts from Cheffins Cambridge, or even just bring along a Photograph and they will do their best to help you
100 TRADE STANDS. - We are bookings up very quickly due to the popularlity of this venue, so do not delay booking.
HOT & COLD FOOD will be available all day provided by our Caterers and will include
Grill - English Hog Roast - Traditional English Sausages - The Deli - French Crepes - Tea & Coffee - Pimms & Beer Bar
SAFFREY CHAMPNEES TEA GARDEN - Afternoon Teas will be provided in the Tea Garden from 11.30am -5.30 pm by Huntingdon & Peterborough Federation of Womens Institute. Tea supplied by 'Yorkshire Tea', and coffee from M&S. THERE IS A CHARGE of £2,50 PER PERSON for Tea & Cake.
DISABLED ACCESS is possible but is limited in some areas. There are Bridges to reach parts of the Garden. There is quite a long distance from the Car & Coach Parks to the Gardens and Trade Stand Area.
BRASS BANDS - We are pleased to welcome the Ely Military Band, City of Cambridge Brass Band, Cottenham Band and March Brass Bands as well as Concert & Big Band from Huntingdon Music School to entertain us during the weekend.
BBC CAMBRIDGESHIRE - We hope they will be broadcasting live from the Gardens again in 2010.
SUNDAY SERVICE - PRAISE IN THE GARDEN - 10.30 Sunday 27th June-
The Bishop of Huntingdon will lead an informal interdominational service in the Rose Garden, with the Brampton Youth Band & local Choirs. We hope to make this a truly spirtual start to our Sunday in the Gardens. Those attending the service will need to pay normal entrance to the show but as the whole show is in aid of local Charities we will not be taking a collection during this service.
NO DOGS , except Guide Dogs.
PICNICS - Only allowed in the Car Parks Area.
